Introduction

Hereford Choral Society has been in existence for over 170 years, performing concerts in its own right, and also supplying singers for the Three Choirs Festival each year.

Membership of the society is drawn from across the county of Herefordshire, with around 160 regular singers of all ages.  There is probably at least 50 years between the youngest and oldest members (but we don't like to ask!)

The society is traditionally conducted by the Organist and Director of Music at Hereford Cathedral; Geraint Bowen has held the post since 2001.
